As real alternative solution against massive strip electrodes our powder metallurgical produced sintered strip electrodes have proved oneself on the market. Their advantages result from the low production costs and of the quick availability of even small batches of special alloys. Moreover can the alloys easily adapted to customers’ requirements.
The production of the sintered strip electrodes is carried out, after the calculated estimation of the strip-analysis at first by mixing the different powder constituents. By the means of a roller mill is the powder mixture then pressed to a so called “green strip” and unrolled to a coil. That strip runs through a sintering furnace wherein it is sintered to a stable and bendable strip under a reducing atmosphere. Finishing is the strip cut to the required dimension.
According to that technology we are the only producer of sintered strip electrodes worldwide!
