Dear customer, according to „REACH“ which is valid since the 1st of June 2007, a material which is not registered is not allowed to be produced or traded within the EU when its amount exceeds 1t. As well is this valid for materials in preparations and for manufactures under special conditions. In order to manage the massive registration works a transition period which can last between 3.5 and 11 years (depending on the material and its effect on environment and health) has been introduced by REACH. Manufacturer and Importers who want to use the transition period needed to pre-register the particular material until the 1st of December 2008. We, the Corodur Verschleiss-Schutz-GmbH, as producer of cored-wires, sintered strip-electrodes, units, devices and end-products are considered as “Downstream-User” according to REACH. Therefore we attend to our duty and have pre-registered in due time the following materials with the submission number and the related reference number.
